I’d seen brilliant organisations with passionate teams making a positive impact in their communities. But I’d also watched too many of them struggle with the same problems over and over: broken systems, endless admin, fundraising stress, and that constant feeling of fighting fires instead of building something bigger.
The Problem I Couldn't Ignore
Here’s what I kept seeing: charities with amazing missions but terrible websites. Dedicated volunteers drowning in spreadsheets. Fundraising teams are spending more time on paperwork than connecting with donors. Leaders who started their charity to help people, now stuck behind desks dealing with compliance.
The worst part? Most of the solutions out there treated symptoms, not causes. A new website here, a quick training session there. But nothing that actually fixed the root problems or helped charities grow sustainably.
